The Bank of America Foundation is helping EOA Children’s House improve the quality of care for children enrolled at The Pat Walker Center for Children and assisting with the increasing cost of breaking the cycle of child abuse in Northwest Arkansas. 

“Bank of America has been a loyal partner with EOA Children’s House for many years, and we believe strongly in their mission to provide a safe, secure place where abused and neglected children can receive the vital therapeutic care and support they need,” says Candice Ross, Personal Banker with Bank of America.

The $3,000 grant will be used to assist with the cost of additional program staff and classroom supplies for EOA Children’s House’s recent enrollment expansion.

The annual bike race held at one of our EOA Head Start Centers in Fayetteville.  Physical activity is a part of every child's daily routine at each of our nine centers in Washington County.

The EOA Head Start / Early Head Start philosophy is all envirionments are learning environments.  Our trained staff gives each child the opportunity to interact and grow during their time in our care, whether it is learning in groups or independently.

Children's House staff participate in the NWA Mini Grand Prix, an annual fundraising event of the C.A.R.E. initiative. The C.A.R.E. Initiative is a longtime supporter of Children's House. 

A child's health has a tremendous impact on his or her ability to learn. Healthy children are children who are ready and able to learn.  EOA Head Start facilitates routine health screenings for children enrolled with the program and works with parents to educate the entire family on the importance of using appropriate healthcare.
